The Camp Cooper Scholarship Fund

Camp Cooper Scholarship Programme

At Camp Cooper, we believe that camp should be a place where children and teenagers from all backgrounds can come together, feel included, and have the opportunity to grow, learn, and have an unforgettable summer adventure.

One of the most special parts of Camp Cooper is our international community. Each summer, we welcome campers from the UK and over 40 countries from around the worold. Camp becomes a truly multicultural environment where young people build friendships with others from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. Campers learn about each other’s lives, discover both similarities and differences, and develop confidence, empathy, and understanding of the world around them.

Watching campers from completely different backgrounds become close friends is one of the most rewarding and magical parts of camp life.

With this in mind, we are proud to offer a number of scholarship places each summer for families who may not otherwise be able to afford the full cost of attending Camp Cooper.

We understand how valuable experiences like camp can be for a child’s confidence, independence, social development, and wellbeing, and we are committed to helping make these opportunities accessible wherever possible.

Unfortunately, due to limited funding, we are unable to offer scholarships to every family who applies, and demand for support always exceeds the funding available. However, we carefully review every application with kindness, understanding, and consideration.
