Logistics Manager

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Logistics Manager that is super organised, loves logistics and wants to work behind the scenes to ensure Camp runs smoothly. The logictics manager will will work at BOTH CAMPS - Camp Cooper in Crieff and Camp Cooper in Edinburgh. Due to this, we require the Event Manager / Programme Director to be have a car and be willing to drive between the two Camps.

The Logistics Manager will work closely with the Camp Directors and Leadership team to ensure Camp runs smoothly. They will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensure we have all of the pre-summer information for campers - elective forms, transport forms, background info forms
  • Ensure all campers arrive and leave safely (ensure we have all of the correct information and we have a plan for picking up the campers from the airport)
  • Overseeing the Camp store (clothing and snacks)
  • Managing Camp's petty cash 
  • Ordering equipment
  • Managing the logistics of our trip days

About You

Candidates must demonstrate the following skills and characteristics:


  • Ability to be a positive role model for young people
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (unless you have a media exemption)
  • Have a car and be willing to drive between the Camps (fuel expenses to be reimbursed)


  • Experience working in an office/administration environment
  • Experience of working in a residential youth environment 
  • Experience of working with young people from a range of nationalities

Other Information

Applicant must successfully pass full background and reference checks
Pre summer Employment (non - residential):
Start Date - Between mid-May and start of June. Working from home is an option for the start of the role until summer camp starts
Summer Employment: The role can be residential or non-residential 
End Date: Saturday August 7th 2021 (6pm)

Salary to be discussed based on start date etc
